Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog where I desire to bring awareness to the MS disease through my transparent everyday journey. By sharing a piece of my life, I wish to promote change and inspire those who read. Please enjoy and share these stories with someone who could use a word of encouragement.

You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.

Do you know that what God has said in His word “The Holy Bible” is true? So why do we become so discombobulated when faced with a trial? In our human behavior, we function based on what we have learned; which can also be derived by our emotions. However, we need to remind ourselves that GOD is ALMIGHTY and HE has the final say! Even though the doctors news did not sound favorable; all I keep hearing is “no matter what my eyes may see, no matter what my ears may hear. Furthermore, whose report will we believe? I choose to believe God in all his infinite wisdom. We must exercise our faith through action. Do you believe? When you are going through a trial, and everything thing around you is falling apart; hold on by faith because you are close to your blessing.  Remember the storms God has brought you through! Remember how much He Loves us. The source of love is God! GOD IS LOVE 📷️

Everyday I am blessed to wake up, I make a conscious decision to be happy! Now don’t get me wrong, most nights I toss and turn, sometimes in serious pain. There is so much I can complain about, but I don’t. In fact, I refuse to complain when I know that there are people suffering right in my own neighborhood and all over this world. Sure I have my challenges, as we all do, but when I look around and see people unable to walk, homeless, hungry...who am I to complain. I have so much to be thankful for, and I realize that I am here to help others in whatever way I can. So I encourage you to look around and be thankful in your circumstance, whether good or bad. God is preparing you for greater, so hold on because everything is in divine order. Remember “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Decide to be happy and live on purpose!

Not too long ago I posted a video on FaceBook about a comment that was made to me. The comment was “you just can’t get rid of that cane huh” and my response was, “ well I need it right now and if I don’t use it I may fall”. (Wisdom)

As a person with a disability because of MS I have some mobility issues; however, I am NOT disabled. Let me explain, I’m alive with gifts and purpose. Just like you God has given me purpose and I am determined to use my God given talent and gifts to help others and glorify God! My heart is strong and my brain is superbly functioning! So don’t feel sorry for me, instead support my mission of encouraging people going through a storm of their own. I learned as a child to treat people the way you want to be treated. So, remember that when engaging a person with disabilities. They want to be treated with love, respect, and dignity.

I hope you’ve been enlightened and blessed! Thank you.
