Angels Hearts for Hope: Turning Experience Into Impact
In 2020, Lisa founded Angels Hearts for Hope Foundation to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis and empower people living with the condition. The foundation grew from her own experience and from a desire to help others feel less alone.
Through awareness and advocacy, Angels Hearts for Hope works to encourage MS warriors to overcome adversity and pursue their full potential. The foundation also connects people with resources, hosts community events, and supports efforts that can improve quality of life.
This work matters because MS can affect far more than mobility. It can influence employment, independence, transportation, finances, family responsibilities, emotional wellness, and access to safe spaces. Support must be compassionate, practical, and centered on the whole person.
The foundation’s events and fundraisers help create opportunities for connection while bringing attention to the needs of the MS community. Gatherings such as the annual MS Strong Sneaker Ball remind us that advocacy can be energetic, joyful, and unforgettable. We can raise awareness while celebrating resilience. We can talk honestly about challenges while making room for laughter, friendship, movement, and hope.
