Hi everyone!

I hope this message finds you wrapped in peace and feeling the warmth of God’s love today. As many of you know, my journey with Multiple Sclerosis hasn't always been easy. There are days when the fatigue feels like a heavy blanket and the uncertainty of what tomorrow brings can try to dim my light. But even in those quiet, challenging moments, I am reminded of the scripture in Matthew 5:14: "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden."

Our light: your light: is meant to shine, especially when the path feels a little shadowed. That’s why I am so incredibly excited to share something truly special that is happening in our community. We are moving together toward a night of music, celebration, and purpose. On July 18th, we have a vital opportunity to come together for Bryce Valle’s “The B Sides” Benefit Concert, supporting our very own Angels Hearts for Hope Foundation.

Are you looking for a way to turn your support into action? Have you been searching for a moment of joy that also serves a greater mission?

Whether you’re an MS warrior, a devoted caregiver, or a friend of the foundation, this night is for you. Here are five heartfelt reasons why you simply cannot miss this unforgettable event.

1. You are Fueling a Mission of Hope and Healing

When we talk about the Angels Hearts for Hope Foundation, we aren’t just talking about an organization; we are talking about a family. Every ticket purchased for "The B Sides" goes directly toward providing resources, advocacy, and a supportive community for those living with MS.

I know firsthand how isolating this condition can feel. There were times in my own journey where I felt like I was fighting a solitary battle. But through prayer, exercise, and the collective resilience of people like you, I found my way back to a place of healing. When you attend this concert, you are helping us provide that same lifeline to others. You are ensuring that no one has to walk this road alone. Isn't it wonderful how a single night of music can translate into months of advocacy and support?

2. Witnessing the "Triple Threat" Talent of Bryce Valle

We are so blessed to have the incredible Bryce Valle leading this celebration. Bryce is a true "triple threat": an actor, singer, and dancer who has graced Broadway national tours and regional theaters across the country. But more than his impressive resume, it is his heart that shines brightest.

Bryce is celebrating his 30th birthday by giving back to our community. He’s calling this show "The B Sides": a collection of his favorite music shared with his favorite people. To see someone use their God-given gifts to lift up others is a beautiful thing to behold. His energy is infectious, and his talent is world-class. When we witness such excellence, it reminds us of the beauty that is possible when we push through adversity and lean into our passions.

3. Strengthening the Power of "We"

There is a unique kind of strength that is only found when we gather. Whether it’s at our annual MS Strong Sneaker Ball or a cabaret show in the heart of the city, there is something vital about looking into the eyes of someone who "gets it."

At "The B Sides," you’ll find a room full of courageous individuals who understand the nuances of the MS journey. It’s a chance to network, to share stories, and to build the kind of deep, meaningful connections that sustain us through the tough times. We often say "MS Warriors Overcoming Adversity," but the truth is, we overcome it much better when we do it together. Will you be there to add your voice and your presence to our collective movement?

4. Celebration as a Form of Resilience

Sometimes, the most courageous thing you can do is celebrate. In the face of a chronic condition, choosing to laugh, to clap, and to enjoy a night of cabaret is a powerful act of defiance against the struggle.

"The B Sides" isn't just a concert; it’s a birthday party and a victory lap. By celebrating Bryce’s milestone and our foundation’s mission, we are telling the world: and ourselves: that MS does not define us. Our joy defines us. Our faith defines us. Our resilience defines us. As it says in Nehemiah 8:10, "The joy of the Lord is your strength." Let's take a night to fill our tanks with that strength!

5. Inclusion and Accessibility for Everyone

We know that for some of our warriors, traveling to a venue like The Green Room 42 in NYC might be a bit much for the body right now. And that is perfectly okay! One of the most beautiful aspects of this event is that it is truly inclusive.

If you can’t make it in person, you can join us via the cabaret live stream. You can experience the high-energy performance, the heartfelt messages, and the beautiful music right from the comfort of your home. Take a mental health day, find your most comfortable chair, and be well as you join the movement digitally. No matter where you are, you are part of this light.
