Summertime is a great time to get into water exercise outdoors, if possible. Exercising in water is low impact and not stressful to your body! As we age, many of us slow down finding that we can't physically do what we used to, or maybe not able to do it the same way. Perhaps due to an affliction our mobility changes or has been compromised. It's okay, we just have to find creative and safe ways to keep moving! There are exercises you can do in the water that you may not be able to do safely at home or at all. Exercise in the water will strengthen your muscles, improve agility and keep you cool in the process! Remember we all have ability to thrive not just survive!
