Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog where I desire to bring awareness to the MS disease through my transparent everyday journey. By sharing a piece of my life, I wish to promote change and inspire those who read. Please enjoy and share these stories with someone who could use a word of encouragement.

They Never Left...

There is something about the love of a dad; he’s loving, kind, and often with a great sense of humor. Well, this is my description of my father…Daddy is what I called him, and I have to tell you, everyday my dad would greet me with a smile; then he would prepare a big breakfast for the whole family, complete with biscuits, scrambled eggs and sausage or he would make corned beef hash well done, meaning crispy on the outside and topped off with two eggs over medium for me or poached for him and mom. Oh yeah, I have two sisters and one brother, and I am the baby of the bunch! As the youngest, I often found my siblings fussing over or catering to me their baby sister Tata!

I was born Lisa Angel Ray, and truly I was the sparkle in my parent’s eye! My mommy dressed us girls like princesses with beautiful laced dresses, ruffled panties, tights and shiny patent leather shoes. My mom took good care of my siblings and I. Mom would make pastellios made of beef or cheese and serve them to all the kids on the block. She combed our hair and put beautiful bows, ribbons, or barets and bobos. Just a reflection...

You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.
