Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog where I desire to bring awareness to the MS disease through my transparent everyday journey. By sharing a piece of my life, I wish to promote change and inspire those who read. Please enjoy and share these stories with someone who could use a word of encouragement.

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength"  - Philippians 4:13

You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.

Overwhelmed

I’m feeling overwhelmed just when I think everything will be okay. I’m hearing about someone else is in the hospital or there’s another death today. Trying to wrap my head around what the world has become, a war zone, loss of life, overcrowded hospitals, overcrowded morgues, loss of employment, and nothing I can afford. I cannot afford to go outside. I cannot afford to continue to be blind when my saviors been keeping all this time. Even when we don’t understand and things are not right! Still Walking by faith and not by sight. It’s a normal occurrence to wear masks and gloves and now more than ever letting people know they are loved. Not knowing if you have another minute in this life, so you better get it right, get to know Jesus, Jesus the Christ! They say we are living in a new norm but if you paid attention to the signs, you were thoroughly warned. Help your neighbor, say a prayer too , tomorrows not promised it’s the right thing to do, a good thing no doubt so don’t be idle , if you have questions then research the Bible. What’s happening in this world is not a surprise to God. In fact, this situation for him is not hard. We are the ones who are challenged and feel left in the cold. But pray as we were taught it never gets old. You see God has the answer just like we’ve been told, in fact He Is the answer and in control . Be still, this too shall pass!

I remember you holding my hand to walk across the street. I remember you holding my hand to make sure my clothes stayed neat. I remember you holding my hand to make sure I was safe. I remember you holding my hand when I was in a rush so I could I wait. I remember you holding my hand while waiting on lines. I remember holding your hand telling me that I’ll be fine. I remember you holding my hand as we looked to God in prayer. I remember you holding my hand telling me God will always be there. I remember you holding my hand when I would sometimes cry. And I remember holding your hand when it was time to say goodbye. Better yet I’ll see you later because you are in the arms of our risen savior. Until we see each other again I know I’ll think of you every day mommy my best friend.

It is so important to know your roots, where you came from, the history of our ancestors. We must take the time and tell those stories to pass them down to the next generation. Share precious memories, recipes, triumphs and trials. Someone is spending time alone this Christmas because they don’t know their family. The mistakes of our past do not need to be the demise and loss of family and legacy. Let’s connect and embrace one another so our children can know the heritage from whence they came. Love your family, leave a legacy! You cannot truly know who you are without knowing where you are from. Merry Christmas family!
