Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog where I desire to bring awareness to the MS disease through my transparent everyday journey. By sharing a piece of my life, I wish to promote change and inspire those who read. Please enjoy and share these stories with someone who could use a word of encouragement.

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength"  - Philippians 4:13

You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.

Depths of my pain, how my heart hurts. Suffering in silence can’t come up with the words. My bruised skin gives way to abuse or covers up trouble I’m trying to escape. The strength of my back pushes to overcome a space of denial. Black women are too strong and you should stay in your place but I will not keep silent because we need to escape. Escape the trivial notion that we are not good enough, not educated enough, not beautiful enough...Truth is our Beauty is inside out and it lasts a lifetime because we are steadfast in God and walk by faith and not by sight leaning on God to bring us through neglect, racism, abuse, the injustices of this life because it’s not our fight! God has our back and hears our plea just hold on to faith and remember the mustard seed. We win because of Him🏾 Depths of my pain, how my heart hurts. Get the rest you need...

Rest is important for so many reasons. With proper rest you can restore your body’s function and have the energy needed to get through a day and be productive. Proper rest is healing and therapeutic in that you are allowing your body to heal itself and also to think clearly removing mental clutter. Focus on God and release your cares over to him! Remember 2 Chronicles 20:15 He fights our battles, it belongs to Him! Tap into the Holy Spirit and realize the gifts he has given you and begin to utilize it by faith.
